Hiding under my sheets like cloth can save me from the darkness the darkness that has crept into my life as surely as it has taken over the bulb not knowing because I can't hide I cannot drown in my own bed a bed that is my own and yet not even of my possession answers that spark from questions never asked my hands reach to my face where I find no comfort for I no longer know myself and a mirror I need not to know and still the darkness surrounds such a fragile mind who pretends to be strong stronger than her enemy although she knows the enemy is within and she is I and I am she.

I write because the need to write is buried deep within my bones Like the pen is my extremity and the ink is my blood I write and yet nothing is written Nothing yet is said I write because I will never tell The Truth I will never tell The Truth. I write because the need to write is a part of me Yet apart from me I write and something is known Everything is known I write because I will always tell Lies I will always tell Lies. I write because I want to write And I don't want you to listen I write and you read You read and you listen I write because you know.
